LEED green building certification is growing as more and more businesses become energy efficient.

Leadership in Energy and Developmental Design (LEED) green building certification is growing as more and more businesses become energy efficient.

Based on a survey of 7,100 LEED buildings, there are a variety of options that developers use to make buildings environmentally friendly.

This includes minimizing light pollution (40.4 percent), monitoring building ventilation systems (49.2 percent), and letting occupants control workspace lighting (66.9 percent).
